4 in x 11 in Door Hangers
Door hangers are similar to postcards but with a hole and slit in the top and are most commonly handed out door to door as a leave behind. The 4" x 11" Door Hanger is the big brother to our 4” x 9” or 3.5" x 8.5" Door Hanger. With the additional space, you can pack in more information, or increase your image and text size, making your message easier to read.
Our door hangers are available with the following options:
- Single or Double-sided printing
- An optional 2" perforation at the bottom
By selecting "yes" to the tear-off option, the door hanger will have a 4" x 2" tear-off that your customer can easily remove. Common uses for the tear-offs are coupons, tickets, and business cards. If your client base is more businesses than residential, check out our rack cards. They are similar to door hangers but without the die-cut at the top, making them less expensive.
There are many different strategies when it comes to using door hangers, here are just two ways you can use door hangers to start increasing sales today. The first is to do a saturation door hanger distribution in a target area. An example of this would be if you were to open a new business in a community and wanted to let the surrounding residents of this community know that you exist. A second way to use door hangers is to distribute them to nearby houses where one of their neighbors purchased your product or used your service. It only takes a minute, and a door hanger with a "Trusted by Your Neighbor" type message carries more weight than a random cold call or advertisement.
Door hangers can be customized with a variety of content, such as advertisements for products or services, promotional offers, event announcements, local business information, political campaign materials, and non-profit awareness messages. It is an effective marketing tool used to reach potential customers directly at their place of residence or business.

Print Options: Our Door Hangers are printed full color on the front and/or back. If your artwork goes to the edge of the card, please download our template below to ensure your design meets the specifications. If you want to know how it will look, please select "yes" to have a pdf proof sent to you by email after purchase.
Paper Stock: We offer our door hangers in 100LB Cover Coated door hangers, which are easy to distribute because they are more rigid. The additional rigidity makes it easier to slide the slit of the door hanger around a door handle or even to slide between the door and door seal if needed. The 100LB Cover Coated will also hold up better in a wallet or drawer until used by the potential client.
Tear Off: An option perforation can be added to your door hanger 2" from the bottom. This provides your door hanger with a 4" x 2" tear-off.
Turnaround Time: Standard turnaround time is 2-4 business days. If you need it faster, you may select Next Day turnaround when purchasing. *All artwork must be approved by the times listed to ensure you receive your product on time.
Email Proof: There are two proof types available. First, you can choose "no proof", we will manually review your proofs to see if they meet our minimum specification requirements and proceed directly to printing. *If it doesn't meet our requirements you will receive an email and explanation. If you select "yes", your file will be manually reviewed by our design team, and we will email you a PDF proof of your design for your approval. Please allow up to 1 business day to receive your PDF proof if you choose the latter.
